Welcome to Phoenix Choir!

Having arisen in September 2002 from two former, well-established, Eastbourne choirs, Phoenix Choir is now locally acclaimed in its own right.

Since our inception we have covered a wide range of choral music. The most modern was Praise & Revelation by Stuart Johnson, while in December 2004 our programme included Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms.

Other composers featured at our concerts have been: Bruckner, Brahms, Faure, Purcell, Handel, Schubert, several works from Haydn and Mozart and Elgar (for his 150th Anniversary).  For more information about us, click here!

Saturday, 31st May 2008 - Spring Concert

Phoenix Choir's next concert takes place on of May 31st, and features the Phoenix Orchestra.  The music pieces to be performed are

Brahms - Nanie                                              Dvorak - Mass in D

June 21st Summer Workshop

Phoenix Choir's workshop takes place on June 21st.  Accompanied by Brian Steer with vocal training by Judith Colman.  The music piece to be studied is:

 Mendelssohn's - Elijah
